Well, I've finally done it.

For years, I swore I'd never start a blog. What's the use? Who wants to read about me? And, do I really have anything to say? Now that we have a son, I realize, yes to all the above! I definitely have something to talk about and -- forgive my pride -- something (someone) that I think is worth reading about! (Of course, Carolyn was always that too, but she kept sabotaging my "Praise Carolyn" blog attempts.)

The big news last night was that Noah listened to his first UofL Cardinals game! It was a nail biter - 73-10 victory over Murray State. This morning, he got up at 8am to read the newspaper and ESPN with me and enjoy a bowl of cheerios. He agreed with Kirk Herbstreit that Brohm is the best QB in the country, cooing when he stated that. (Well, actually, he was using the restroom, another very pleasurable activity that we get extremely excited about.) In addition, we brushed our teeth.

Right now he is sleeping in his bouncy chair having a dream.

More pictures to come soon!

  1. Hey Josh! Congrats again on the new baby. Definitely something to write about. We'll be tuned in to read about the adventures to come since we are thinking about kids in the not so distant future ourselves. :)

  2. I can't wait to read more about Noah! :) The title will always remind me of Boston Legal though, lol.

Oh, and make sure not to write about your employer or else weird and disastrous things may happen that aren't really true ;)
