While Daddy was away, Noah and I decided it was time for an adventure. So this morning we headed off into the horizon on a roadtrip to exotic...Kentucky. Of course I thought it would take 2 hours to get there so it actually took 3.5, but it was still a wonderful day.

The weather was sunny and 70 degrees, and we got to spend almost four hours with Great Grandma and Grandpa Merrill on their farm, eating soup (or rice cereal), walking (or riding) through the meadow, and talking (or babbling) about books, life, work, health, etc. What a blessing to have (great) grandparents who are so engaging, loving, and close! And now that this initial daytrip is under our belts, I bet we can beat our travel time next time. Mario Andretti, watch out.
Hey there! You are so brave going on a long trip with just Noah and yourself! Way to go!!

The ability to "slurp" a blog into a book! Isn't that cool - you can edit it after they transfer it to the book but I just thought it was a neat idea! So, you can turn your blog into a book for his first birthday!!
