Trucks

Fire truck. Dump truck. Trash truck. Big Truck. Up-chuck (pick-up truck). These are the words I hear most frequently on any given day. They're also some of his favorite toys, lined up here for easy access. (Yes, that's a horse in his hand - the horse happens to be Noah's favorite driver at the moment.)

Every Friday morning, Noah wakes me with a reminder that the trash trucks are roaming the neighborhood, ready to drive by their two most eager spectators.

Some genius at our Parks Dept has seen this phenomenon before, so last Saturday they turned our local park into a lot for trucks, tractors, bulldozers, and an ambulance - just sitting there for kids to enjoy. Noah was in awe - especially during the trash truck demonstration.

I'm just praying this was--and will be--his only chance to sit in the back of an ambulance...
