Aaron at Six Weeks

Cuddling - He loves to be warm, wrapped, held, dry, and loved. Our pleasure.

Cooing - He's basically just exhaling and accidentally making sound, but it's too adorable.

Bottle-feeding - Makes him very mad. So far, he's taken a few after hours of protest. We'll keep trying, but he's not thrilled about that (and neither are we, to be honest).

Sucking - Finds his hands from time-to-time so could be working toward that thumb. I hope so, since he doesn't take a paci.

Spitting - He doesn't! With Noah, I went through burp cloths like nobody's business. I didn't know it was possible for babies to burp and stay dry.

Vomiting - I pay for the no-spitting with an occasional regurgitation. Thankfully, it's just milk so it's not that gross. Yet.

Scheduling - Less Babywise than with Noah. During the day, I feed him on-demand, because he's sleeping well at night (with a 5-6 hour stretch) and not snacking. I'm hoping to develop more predictable naps, but no rush; Too much else to care about.

Nursing - Great once I got used to the idea that he only eats on one side per feeding.

Fussing - He seems much happier when I eat a very simple diet: oatmeal, PB&J, chicken. But we're still in the testing phases -- I'm not ready to give up everything else just yet.

Swinging - Loves it. The best way to get or keep him sleeping. We hardly used it with Noah, but it's getting a workout now! (Thanks, Dave & Christina!)

Sleeping - During the day, anywhere. At night, in his crib in the nursery. Once again, it was too hard sleeping in the same room. So Josh & I moved upstairs to the guest room and I just slip out to the nursery when I hear Aaron starting to "talk."
