I knew they started early, but...

When I was putting Noah to bed tonight, after praying he asked, "Sometime can I invite one of my girl friends over to play?"

Me (Josh): "Sure."

Noah: "Do we have any girl toys? I guess we have that baby doll. I think that is the only girl toy we have. It's ok if we don't have any princess costumes. [A girl's name] likes princess custumes. Boys like spider custumes better. That's ok. Some girls like boy toys too."

(I reassured him that it was ok if we didn't have any girl custumes either, unless of course, we had a girl... but that's another blogpost.)

You must understand that this is quite a transformation. Our little boy has been the lover of all things male, and adamant that there be boys and boy toys wherever he goes.

Good thing he still like chaperones...
