End of the School Year

I only had two kids in preschool, but by the end of 2012-2013 school year, I was burned out. I like to blame it on the munchkin I birthed last July, but regardless, I joined the army of women who adored this post by Jen Hatmaker. Noah finished out his 3 years at Mustard Seed Preschool (and hopefully his last years in private school for quite a while). It is a little wrenching to say goodbye to the cozy, insular environment where (unbeknownst to me) he learned the Lords' Prayer by heart, sang his way through the children's catechism, and mastered the encyclopedia of Star Wars Legos.

His teachers, Ms. Delyn & Ms. Amy, were awesome, of course.
With the help of a great coach (and friend), he also finished his first season of soccer, which I hope will be the first of many...

AND he got to celebrate the end of soccer/preschool with Gigi & Papa - icing on the cake.

But enough nostalgia -- Off to kindergarten in ONE MONTH!

Noah: Woohoo!
Me: (Yikes.) Woohoo! (Yikes.)

I will not think about how much I'm going to miss my sweet boy. I will not.
