We had a shower this weekend for one of the many couples in our Sunday school class who are pregnant. If you've read below, I don't have to tell you what they're having. It was really sweet to spend the evening with so many good friends who are going through similar experiences. In fact, we got a picture of several of us moms, each with a boy under 1 year (some still in utero, as you can see above).
Sadly, during the course of the evening, I got caught making a complete fool of myself ogling over my own little boy (we were swaying on the couch to the music, making goofy faces at each other). I've become the baby-crazy mom I always thought I'd avoid. Oddly enough, I'm lovin' it. O magazine has a recent article entitled "Can a man make you crazy?" Well, I guess so. Thank Heaven for friends who will make fun of me and love me at the same time, 'cuz I'm sure this won't be the last time I'm goofy over this guy...
