I think Noah may have set a new record this week. Josh's cousins--including 20-month-old Tessa--were here for 2 days last weekend, and Noah is still asking for Tessa six days later. He loves looking at pictures of her, and tends to assume any little girl he sees is "Tessa!?" Thanks for visiting, Scott & Carol Beth, and be sure to come back soon! Otherwise Noah may not forgive you for taking your daughter away.
I have to confess that we did not go to the pool at all this week. It was soooo hot last week that I just couldn't bring myself to waddle to what has become a very large hot tub. Fortunately, we went with the cousins last Saturday, and I think Noah had enough fun to last him until tomorrow (when we'll go back with some great friends who have an ADORABLE newborn that makes me really want a newborn of my own). ;)
Josh is such a wonderful father--loving, playful, affectionate, strong--but I'm not usually fast enough to catch him on camera (he and Noah are often in motion, rolling, dunking, giggling, etc). But when Noah fell asleep in the car this afternoon and had to be transferred to his crib, I saw my chance.
Oh, and I Wasn't Kidding about the Nesting...
